posted by: Gealt adj.

Used in several different ways. 1. "Job" can be used to describe whether something was sorted out between individuals satifactorily ("job"), 2. whether a job was done well by someone("da job") 3. or whether something looked convincing or not ("da job").

"Example 1. (something agreed upon or sorted out between individuals) Person 1: "So I'll meet ya outside da garda station at t(h)ree-a-clock." Person 2: "Job." Example 2. (when a job has been done well or satisfactorily) Person 1. "Sure da' new press looks da job, doesn't it?" Person 2. "Dat's da job now so i' tis". Example 3. (when something looks convincing even though it's fake) "Begodden I thought dey were real guards!" "Yeah and da Paddy wagon looked da job too!""
