Curse da God
Heard in Wexford
To put a hex on something. Normally not meant in earnest but as an expression to convey a Wexford person's annoyance at something, especially in the Bunclody area. In some areas they say "curses o' god" instead.
Ye et me last strawberry? Ah das quare ill lad! A curse da God on yiz anyways! I'm gonna burn yer house to the axle!
You consumed my final strawberry, how thoroughly disagreeable of you. A plague upon you all in any case, for I shall set fire to your domicile.
